Busloads of foreign visitors, mostly from Asian countries, poured into the scenic turnouts to breathe in the beauty of this land. Most of their photos include selfies, complete with parasols, to document that they were here.
Families also came in abundant numbers to instill in their children a love of preserved geography. Lack of cell service helped to focus their attention on the beauty around them.
I saw the sights through the lens of my camera but did put it down many times to just sit and reflect on the wonder of God’s creation.
